The Seattle Humane Society Walk For Animals

Sunday the 25th was the Seattle Humane Society's Walk for Animals, and my parents - along with Tucker and Finley - walked the event with Luna and me. I left Penny at home, figuring that handling one dog (while taking photographs) was going to be challenging enough. I made the right call, as there were over 1,500 dogs in attendance! I was totally ecstatic when late last night I received an email stating that I’d received one last donation from a family member. Turns out D (who is half way around the world on business) managed to hop online and send enough of a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal! So a big thanks to those who donated.

We didn't stay too for long for FidoFest or for any of the contests as rain did eventually appear here in Seattle. All in all, it was a good walk for a great cause, and our three Golden’s got the opportunity to socialize and make new friends. I am happy that we were all able to participate in the event!
