One of the many questions asked (by newbies like me) about BlogPaws is do pets come to the weekend long conference and are they able to participate with their owners? Well even though I did not bring Luna or Penny to the event – although I wish I had - I already knew the answer. The answer is YES! Pets were everywhere and they even took over the parking lot and performed tricks for us like Tillman, the World's most famous dog, and Norman, the scooter dog. Tillman and Norman started the memorable weekend off with a demonstration of their special talents which included; skateboarding, scooter riding, and balloon popping.

All types of animals were allowed everywhere in the hotel except for the public food outlets – Starbucks, the bar and restaurant. However, they were welcome in ALL the BlogPaws conference rooms, including the meal rooms and the ball rooms! Here is Sally from It's A Weinerful Life, and Chester and Gretel from You Did What With Your Weiner.

Not only were all types of animals present at the conference but there were different types of animals too. There were little dogs and big dogs -

- shaggy dogs -

- dogs dressed in costumes -

- people and cats dressed in costumes -

- ferrets -

- flat ones-

- and just plain weird looking ones.

Some dogs attended workshops with their owners -

- some dogs got bored-

- and all dogs attended lunches and dinners!

Too call this a blog conference and not a DOG conference is beyond me as it was apparent that they ruled the place that weekend!
\nI would like to thank the lovely photographer Becka for allowing me to use these photos. My camera did not fit into my carry-on bag, and my cell phone wasn’t cutting it, so thank you again Becka for the great photos! More photos of BlogPaws can be seen at Becka’s Facbook page.
