Today Luna was able to meet some of her future extended family \u2013 well, in a roundabout sort of way, that is. As my mother gradually approaches the point where she will be able to have a dog again, she has been getting very excited about the prospect. Since she was going to be in town for the week, she contacted Limelite Golden Retrievers (the home of my family\u2019s old dog Sasha's father \u2013 see the connection now?), who will be expecting puppies this summer, so that she could meet some of the dogs. In the video below, you\u2019ll see two of the three dogs we met (and Luna got muddy with) - Mia (3) and Portia (8). They are both quite beautiful and VERY red \u2013 Luna looked like an albino next to them!
