Build A Sign Review & Giveaway

Have you heard of BuildASign.com?  They are the really neat company that allows you to customize your own signs, banners and stickers.  I was contacted by BuildASign to try out their site and customize a few products of my own.   They have a banner maker, sign maker, and a business card maker, all dedicated for making your designing experience easier.

I knew exactly what I wanted to customize for myself \u2013 new\nbusiness cards of course!  We all know\nhow important business cards are to your personal branding, especially for the\npurpose of promoting yourself in your online market.  I just ordered new business cards (from\nanother vendor) for my Pretty Shiny Object site but didn't really care for the\nway they turned out, so I was very excited to get another chance to do it right\nthis time.

The BuildASign.com site is pretty easy to navigate through,\nand once you are in the business card section you have a multitude of pre-made\ntemplates available to choose from, or the option of uploading a pre-made\ndesign.  I decided to use a pre-made\ntemplate and it was fun adding all of the elements available in the editor along\nwith my own logo.  I was able to\nmanipulate and move all the elements around with full control, which made my design\npossibilities endless.  I ended up designing\na set of business cards for this blog, along with my Pretty Shiny Object\nwebsite.  I have included a video of the\nprocess so you can see how easy it was using their business card maker.

Review & Giveaway - Kong Dental Chews

We are all about clean teeth and gums in this house, even more so now that Penny has had a recent cleaning.  Anything that I can do to help maintain her pearly whites is fine by me, even if that means using dog treats that will fight plaque and tarter buildup.

Kong Dental Chews are supposed to do just that; fight plaque and tarter buildup, and inhibiting bacterial growth to reduce chances of gum disease.  There are three different Chews to choose from all offering something slightly different from one another.

  • Chicken Dental Chews are their basic treats that inhibit bacterial growth and reducing gum disease. This vitamin-enriched chew is made with Real Chicken and healthy, human-grade ingredients.
  • Dental Chews Calcium is a treat enriched with extra calcium that also helps to fight plaque and tarter buildup.
  • Fresh Breath Dental Chews have added Parsley and Alfalfa, which are natural sources of breath freshening Chlorophyll.

All of these treats are wheat, corn, and soy free.  They do not contain any artificial colors, flavors, or byproducts.  They are naturally preserved and contain STAY-C®: a patent-protected, bio-available form of Vitamin C.  These treats are available in a variety of sizes and are proudly made in the USA.  To get a full list of their ingredients you can visit their website and see what is included in each treat.

All three chews were a big hit with the dogs!  The chew does have a strong smell to it, but it is otherwise very firm and does not rub off into your hands.  The treat roughly measures around 2” in length which fits perfectly into a small Kong toy.  Since Penny can swallow things quite quickly, I felt more at ease breaking up the chew into smaller pieces, and by breaking I mean using my strong kitchen scissors to do the job.  It took her quite a while to consume the treat; as well it did with Luna too.
