Preparing For Baby - My First Box of Goodies

It's hard to believe I am currently into my 17th week of pregnancy; boy does the time sure go by fast!  I am finally starting to look it more each day (depending on the shirt that I wear) but to be honest I am still getting used to the idea that I will be holding a baby in little less than five months.  I feel like I have had an extremely easy pregnancy so far (I’m currently knocking on some wood) and the 12-13 week mark I started to get my energy back. I also began to experience this deep, deep hunger (along with the need to pee every 10 min) that I have never felt before.

Although we have not made any purchases on baby items yet, I have already been able to collect a few practical items thanks to my sister and nearby cousin.  My sister sent along a cute ‘pregnancy must have’ box that contains the items above, and my cousin has gifted me with numerous items that her little baby can no longer fit in.  I am very thankful for the lovely gifts that have been given to me so far as I know that a baby will require many more items in the nearby future.

Those ball massagers are awesome, I've got one that I picked up that helps when my shoulders and back get tense.

And, while I've never been pregnant and haven't used the mama bee belly butter I do know that Burt's Bees is an awesome company. I buy a lot of foot cremes and chapstick from them!

Looks like a good start to the baby stuff. Just wait a few more months and the urge to pee will be even worse, LOL.

That shirt looks so comfortable! What's that diaper rash cream at Target with the funny name?

Have you been picking out names yet?!
