Today we are reviewing Mini Bakes, a healthy and delicious miniature dog biscuit from Zuke’s. I will admit that we have never actually tried Zuke’s treats before, but after testing them out, I now eagerly look forward to incorporating them into our treat jar and exploring all of the other treats they have to offer.
The Mini Bakes come in three different flavors: Chicken n Cherryz, Turkey n’ Taterz, and Peanut Butter n’ Blueberryz; all which are corn and wheat free, and do not contain any by-products or artificial flavors. Each mini baked biscuit is made with ground oats—never wheat or corn—and is enhanced with a protein source plus a nutritious addition like blueberries, potatoes or cherries.
The Mini Bakes are meant to be biscuits or cookies which can either be used as a training treat or just as good old fashion cookie. They are roughly the size of a vitamin C tablet, and only contain 5 calories each. These treats do not need to be broken up as they are the perfect size to give to my large and small dog. As a dry treat, I also love that I am able to load a handful of these cookies (whenever we are headed out) into my jeans and I don’t have to worry about them crumbling or making a sticky, greasy mess in my pocket. I also really appreciate the fact they do not smell - I am very picky when it comes to dog treats that smell.

Wow, those look really yummy.
ReplyDeleteWe love Zukes at the Litt Palace of Puppy Love. Our four girls each have different dietary needs and Zukes has a treat for each of them.
ReplyDeleteThey make great in between time snacks!
ReplyDeleteWe've tried Zukes before, but just the soft little training treats. These look great too!
ReplyDeleteANYTHING Zukes especially if it has peanut butter! Our girl, Pippin, loves Zukes!
ReplyDeleteMy dogs love these mini bakes but my stores carry the soft chewy treats, so they only get them when I find them online. They also love the z-bones!
ReplyDeleteAll of their treats are great, but I would have to say that we use the Mini Naturals the most (any flavor)--for training :)
ReplyDeleteOscar, former rescued puppy mill, loves Zukes! This would be an excellent gift for his "Gotcha-Day" anniversary with us!
ReplyDeleteWe are HUGE fans of Zuke's! The favorite around here seems to rotate, and right now a it's Super Betas.

ReplyDeleteMy dog likes the soft rabbit treats.
ReplyDeleteWe tried the chicken n cherryz and the dogs really loved them. I love them too, they make great training treats, and I also use small treats when trimming nails and grooming. It really is a great company.
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE Zuke's at our house! We use the minis for training!
ReplyDeleteOMG...we love Zukes! Chester has been eating them for a long time. Probably right when they were invented :) Their first product was the Power Bones which is our top-of-the-list go-to treat. I also love their mini naturals. We have only tried their soft treat so I would be interested to see what they think of crunchy ones. It's hard to find crunchy treats that are small and low-calorie.
ReplyDeleteThe dogs love the Zuke's Chicken Z-Filets best! : )
ReplyDeleteLeo luvs the Peanut Butter mini naturals. The Chicken n Cherryz, Turkey n’ Taterz, and Peanut Butter n’ Blueberryz; all sound good. I like the fact they are low in calorie. I'm thinking his favorite will be the Peanut Butter n' Blueberryz out of the three though;)
ReplyDeleteYum! These are the perfect size for the hounds! We love the brand and currently have a bag of their Z-bones on the counter!
