Wow, it’s hard to believe that we have completed 50 weeks of Black & White photography! I don’t know
about you, but I have fallen in love with it. Since starting the B&W photography hop I have learned to pay more attention to composition, lighting, perspective - and I have found the creative thought process with black and white images to be fun and artistic. I would love to know if you have learned any new insights

I haven't participated in the blog hop but I certainly love all the images I've seen from everyone. This one is really cute!
ReplyDeleteThey really are so bonded aren't they? What a beautiful photo. So much more is conveyed than the eye can see.
ReplyDeleteYES, we absolutely LOVE Black n White photos. Sunday's Black n White is our favorite hop (well 2nd to Tasty Tuesday hop). You know that we've been bending the rules of the BnW hop. Totally inspired my mom doing the BnW wall she did last week. Happy Sunday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm a Black & White cheater. I just upload my photo to photobucket and change it to black and white. Love your sweet photo above!
ReplyDeleteYour photo is beautiful, as yours always are! I'm afraid I'm a cheater too. I plan to put more work into my photography skills, but at this point I don't even know how to shoot in black and white with my digital camera. You certainly give me something to work towards!
ReplyDeleteI just joined for the first time this week so I can't give any feedback as to what I have learned, but I always love seeing everyone's photos! I hope to be a regular participant, if I can get my act together!
ReplyDeleteSnuggle time! They really like being together, don't they? I'm totally having fun with the B&W hop and I've been researching more on how to play with lighting and shadows, and getting more of the details out of black dogs. I tend to look for very contrasting backgrounds now. Photoshop has definitely helped me to refine the pictures a bit more too, but I'm finding I like shooting in color first and then changing it over just in case I like the picture in color better.
ReplyDeleteSome shots really are better in B&W...Without color I pay more attention to focus...sharp edges and angles really pop
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo - I love Luna's tail curled up beside her :)
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast in your shot today, and their pose!
ReplyDeleteI actually enjoy both, but I admit that I'm really drawn to color. Seeing images in black and white really makes me look at them differently, though!
You two are just gorgeous! I think there are some shots that just cry out for black & white!
ReplyDeleteAw, so sweet!Amanda
