I have never been particularly keen on making New Year’s resolutions but this year I thought it was time to make a few.  Not only have we joined up with Jessica’s 30/30 Challenge and Pamela’s 30 Days Challenge, but I also have a few challenges up my own sleeve.

For 2013 I would like to...

Spend more time at the beach.  Let’s face it; this might be the only time get to live less than a mile from a beautiful beach, and I need to be taking every opportunity possible enjoying the sand and surf with my dogs.

Take an obedience class at The Zoom Room. Does your dog come when called? Mine doesn't.  Okay Penny does, and Luna will eventually come back, but not after she has made the decision to do so. If I would like to spend more time at our off leash beach, I need to have Luna’s recall firmly established.

Make a promise to myself and the dogs that I will walk them every day, and if I don’t, my punishment will be riding my elliptical trainer.

Be more active with the Daily Dog Challenges.  I joined a great thing here and failed miserably to participate in.  The challenge for me will not only be the technical parts of the photography challenges, but interpreting them as well.

 Purchase a ridiculously overpriced item at our local dog and cat boutique store.  This is the place to go to in Carmel if you would like to fancy your furry friend in say an evening gown, tiara, or tux.  I have my eye on a fashionable leash and collar set that I know my husband would die over if I actually bought them.
