Bark and Bites - big dog vs. small dog toys, gear & treats.

Today I am joining up with Robin from Newf and Hound to bring you Bark and Bites - big dog vs. small dog toys, gear & treats - links.

Owning two different dogs usually means I end up purchasing two different sizes, weights, and styles of toys, gear, and food – basically everything I use on or with my dogs. What works for Luna may not work for Penny, and what works for Penny definitely does not work for Luna. So I find myself gravitating towards brands or companies that carry different sizes of products for my two differently sized dogs.

Both of my dogs like to chew, so Nylabone is an obvious choice for us as they give us the opportunity to select chew toys based on their height and weight. Penny likes the Daily Dental™ Curve Design Bacon, and Luna likes the DuraChew® Textured Bone - Chicken.

This toy is a ball of fun for both our dogs.  It’s pure entertainment for us to watch Luna watching Penny push this toy all around the house.

Kong is another go to toy for us as their original KONG toy comes in a variety of sizes suitable for both Penny and Luna.

Guardian Gear Collapsible Dog Crates are our favorite crate to travel with.  They are attractive, water-resistant, easy to clean and easy to set up and take down. They come in five different sizes which make it easy to find a fit that is good for both dogs.

When it comes to nail gear I have to purchase two sets of everything to accommodate two different sizes of feet – with the exception of these two items; Wahl Professional 8685 Peanut Classic Clipper/Trimmer and the Oster 78129-600 Gentle Paws Cordless Nail Trimmer.

Since Penny is a long yet short dog with a uniquely shaped breast bone, I sometimes need to seek out specialty items for her.  For super cute jackets we like Noodle and Friends, and our personal favorite hand-made double fleece jacket comes from The Cozy Hound.  Puppia’s Soft Harness seems to be a current favorite for us and for car rides we like the Snoozer Lookout Car Seat.

Make sure to stop by Newf and Hound to see what great links she has in store for you!

Some of the links in the post above are “affiliate links.” This means if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will add value to my readers.
