Christmas Photos

Here are a few photos of what Christmas looked like around hour house this year.  As some of you may remember, my husband was deployed last year, so to have him here (and on winter break for two weeks) was extra special!  There was lots of eating, drinking, lying around in our happy-lounge pants, dog walking (yes it was sunny here in CA), movie watching, cooking, and gift giving. To tell you the truth, I’m not quite ready to take down the Christmas tree. Maybe I will just have to keep one or two of my pretty red decorations out for a few more weeks!

Is It Starting To Feel Like Christmas?

I will admit\nthat even though we have our Christmas tree and decorations up, it still\ndoesn't quite feel like the holidays are here. The Holiday season here on\nCalifornia's Pacific Coast is definitely different (and warmer) than the\nHoliday months of the Puget Sound area of Washington State.  Believe me when I say that I am not complaining\nabout this \u2013 I am forever grateful that my husband is with me this year and not\ndeployed \u2013 but I just have always liked my winter months being cold enough\nwhere I have had to rely on my big fuzzy socks to wear on my feet verses my\ncurrent flip flops.
