D, Luna, and I were extremely excited last weekend, knowing we were going to meet Tucker for the first time.  My parents made the 5+ hour drive over the Mountains to stay with us for the weekend, with the secondary mission of introducing Tucker and Luna to one another.  The moment Tucker was let loose on our floor, the two dogs bonded and went crazy.  There was running, tugging, slobbering, hair pulling, body slams and alpha-action. It was like we were witnessing a mini, furry, non-stop WWF wrestling match.  It’s safe to say that instant friends were made.

As far as I’m concerned, Luna had a wonderful birthday weekend.  She received some wonderful gifts from wonderful friends, she had a blast playing outside (off-leash) in the beautiful weather, and had a nice (and somewhat slobbery) visit with family.  More on this last part later!!

Hmm.. cookies?  And a furry stuffie?  What more could a girl ask for? (Although D wasn’t so happy that the stuffie was a FLEA! – but it’s not his birthday).

Today is Luna’s second birthday (and while D has currently dashed out to our local pet store to purchase a gift) I would like to wish her a very Happy Birthday full of love and joy and tail wagging. We are thrilled to be able to celebrate it with you!
