For this week’s Bark & Bites list I thought I would explore a few dog themed nursery décor options, because really, is there a cuter combination? Call it super trendy if you want, but I would rather go this route being the dog family that we are vs. other typical baby themes out there. I will admit that my list leans more towards the boy gender side, but that’s only because we recently found out that our new little baby will be all boy.

AWW!!! Congrats on finding out it was a little boy. Love, Love this theme!! No better theme for a dog loving family. I don't have any babies but this would be my #1 pick for a nursery theme.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! My mom is in love with all the doxie things you found. I swear, she would own a doxie farm if she could!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. I surprisingly had a hard time finding Golden Retriever items for baby decor - and there seem to be an over abundance on Dachshund items to decorate with.

At first I thought 5 was finger puppets but it turns out it is wall art. I checked out a few of the other ones on Etsy and they are super cute! I haven't been visiting blogs much lately so I haven't seen your baby room updates. Hoping it is coming along nicely though.
ReplyDeleteFood is a wonderful way to get a dog's attention, and it's also a great way to reinforce her for doing what you ask. There are several reasons for that: food not only tastes good, it smells good too, and good smells are tightly linked to good emotions in your dog's brain Low Fat
