Cannery Row

This weekend D and I walked down Cannery Row - a touristy street lined with sardine fisheries, fish house pubs, and a whole line up of boutique and gallery shops.  It was a little overwhelming with the 80 plus stores to look into, but the few that we shopped in made you feel like you were discovering some kind of historic hidden treasure.  We passed through candy shops, chocolate shops, gourmet food and wine shops (our favorites were the candy and garlic shops) … and even got to sample clam chowder that was being handed out on the Row.  Needless to say I walked out of there with a few bags in hand and cannot wait to go back for more.

Talk about some serious eye candy!

Pacific Coast Highway

If driving the Pacific\nCoast Highway isn't on your bucket list, it should be.  No picture will do\nit justice, and whether it\u2019s the millions of spots to take pictures, or the\nwhite knuckle driving of a two lane narrow road with no guard rail and a cliff\ntwo hundred and something feet down to the ocean below, it\u2019s definitely worth a\ndrive!  I should get double points for marking this off of my bucket list\nas not only have I driven this highway, I now live just a few minutes from\nthis spectacular view.","wysiwyg":{"html":"
